New IZONN is (almost) ready!
さて、実は例のごとく突然ですが、IZONNリニューアルのお知らせです！
IZONN制作チームはこの春から、こつこつ作業を続けてきました。今回もいろんなところをいじってますので、早速ですがリニューアルの内容をちょっと予告させてください。
１）日本語 / English 両対応
前々からやりたかった英語対応、今回ついに出来ました。IZONN.com、勝手に世界デビューです！使える通貨も、日本円に加えて米ドルも指定できるようになっています。今回の英語化にともなって、運営用のtwitterアカウントも、日本語用の @izonn_jp に加えて、英語用の @izonn_en も作りました。
２）デザインが劇的に変わります！
全体的にページデザインを一新、ひとめで見やすいものになりました。デザイナーはNNNNYの@isu_taekoさん、素敵なデザインをありがとうございました！
いままでは、どちらかというとIZONNを使って放送をしていただいている放送主の方たちに向けた設計だったんですが、今回は、IZONNを見に来てくださる視聴者の方たちにも、もっと楽しんでいただけるように、今オンエアしている番組や、最も見られている番組、あるいはたくさん売上をあげている番組 などを一覧で見やすく表示するようにしました。放送主さんとお客さんの新しい出会いが増えるといいなと思っています。
３）Ustreamに加えて、YouTubeにも対応！
なんと、YouTubeにも対応しちゃいました。あなたがオーナーのYouTubeビデオがあれば、それを組み込んだIZONNページをつくることができるようになりました。いままでUstreamのRecording 放送を使ってアーカイブ放送を流していた放送主の方も、YouTubeという新しい選択肢が増えました。YouTubeが生放送に徐々に対応してきているようなので、先回りして作ってしまいました。YouTube生放送が一般にも開放されるようになったら、また対応していきたいと思っています。
４）新しいPayPalインターフェース
今年発表された、新しいPayPal APIを導入して、PayPal決済部分のインターフェースが新しいデザインになりました。従来だと決済をする際に何度も別ウィンドウでPayPal画面を開いたり戻ったりと煩雑に行き来していたんですが、新しいPayPalでは IZONNページを表示したまま、別ウィンドウを開くことなく決済が完了するので、Ticket購入がよりスムースになります。
５）同時視聴者数のキャパシティーを強化
目に見えない裏側の部分では、たくさんのお客さんが同時に視聴するイベントなどでも、いままでよりエラーが出にくくなるように、サーバー側のパワーを増強してあります。今まで以上にどんどん使っちゃってください！
今回もぼくらAAAAAAAAAAとBOWの共同作業で、@psyark, @_maki と一緒にコツコツつくってます。現在は、デザインなど大きな部分の実装はほぼ完了していて、細かい部分の最終仕上げを行っているところです。そののち、新しいPayPal APIを使用するためにPayPalからの認証を得たり、という手続きの時間がありますので、少し時間が読めないんですが、来月ぐらいにはリリースできると思います。最新のアップデートは従来通り @izonn_jp でお伝えしていきますので、そちらもチェックしてみてください。

Finally, IZONN.com is getting ready for use in English! It has been almost over an year since the first launch, we are finally about to release the new version of IZONN.com.
IZONN is a web service which integrates PayPal with your Ustream or YouTube video to make your broadcast does busking. You can broadcast yourself as well as selling (virtual) IZONN Tickets to get money from your audience who likes your show.
We've launched it on March last year and have been running beta version with adding several updates. And finally this time we're launching almost brand-new IZONN both in English/Japanese, hoping many of you would be happy to start using it!
Here is the list of the new features of IZONN.
1) English language support
As I mentioned, now IZONN.com can be used both in Japanese and English.
2) Brand-new design
We've updated entire design of the site. Designed by @isu_taeko from NNNNY. Thanks, Isu-san! The original design look and feel was mainly for the broadcasters, but this new one is also aiming to attract viewers. You can have thumbnails of the latest shows, most payed ones, or most viewed ones all at once on the front page.
3) Now you can embed YouTube and Ustream
On your IZONN Page, you can embed Ustream only, but once this renewal version goes live, you can start embedding YouTube video too. If you have your own Ustream Channel, or your own YouTube Video, you can broadcast it on your IZONN page and connect it with your PayPal account to earn coins. (as online buskers, as I said ;)
4) More sophisticated PayPal screens
PayPal recently released the API which allows us to use more sophisticated and integrated payment windows. We adopted this new API to IZONN. Now you would be able to have much more integrated and smooth PayPal experience.
5) More capacity
We've made some change on our backend to make the capacity larger to have more audience at a time for the popular IZONN Pages.
IZONN has been produced and developed by AAAAAAAAAA and BOW. Especially thanks to @psyark and @_maki from BOW as always for their timeless effort.
We've already done most of the renewal and now working on the final tweaks and touch-ups, hoping to make it go live soon in July once we've get the API authorisation from PayPal. Please stay tuned on @izonn_en .
